For this special project, we designed a new garden room and a distinctive living room, creating a continuous atmosphere that harmoniously connects both spaces.
The garden room was designed as an airy extension of the home, subtly blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors. The interior exudes tranquility, comfort, and refinement. At the center of the room are an impressive sofa and coffee table by Linteloo, inviting you to relax. The iconic Eames Chair by Vitra, in an elegant version, adds a timeless design touch. The art-loving client inspired us to select unique works that perfectly match the aesthetics of the space. Each work of art contributes to the personal character and serene atmosphere that prevails here.
We have carefully extended this same atmosphere to the adjoining living room, which is located in a former stable. The impressive vaulted ceiling—a lasting reminder of the building's original function—has been beautifully preserved and forms the characterful starting point for the space. Here too, the spacious Linteloo sofa takes center stage, offering ample seating and reclining comfort for cozy movie nights or moments of pure relaxation. The warm look of the Vanrossum coffee table fits in perfectly with the overall design. High-quality contemporary lighting and refined details, such as a glass vase by When Objects Work, complete the interior and elevate it to a higher level.
With great attention to detail and a consistent design language, these two spaces together form a stylish, cohesive whole in which historical character and contemporary design reinforce each other. A project where outdoor living, art, and architecture come together naturally.
